Congressman Pat Meehan Joins Executive Health Resources at the EHR University Grand Opening

EHR Opens the Doors to a New Training Facility for Employee Excellence and Enhanced Customer Service

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA, December 5, 2011 - Executive Health Resources (EHR), The Physician Advisor Company™, held its Grand Opening today of EHR University, a new training and education facility in Newtown Square, Pa. Employees and dignitaries from around the area joined Rep. Pat Meehan (PA-7) and EHR President and CEO, Robert Corrato, MD, MBA, to celebrate the ribbon cutting event.

“I am honored to participate in EHR’s ribbon-cutting celebration and to recognize the high value that EHR places on employee education and customer service to their hospital clients,” said Rep. Meehan. “In 2011 alone, EHR has created more than 1,200 jobs, mostly in the local area, giving a great boost to the economy and health of our region. I would like to extend my congratulations to the entire EHR team for their continued success."

EHR University will serve as the training center for all new EHR employees, many of whom are physicians and nurses, to gain expertise in their dedicated areas. According to EHR’s leaders, employee education is one of the organization’s top priorities, and ensures that each employee is expertly trained in the specifics of their job to provide excellent customer service. Employees first spend time learning about EHR’s history, solution set, and internal processes in order to achieve a firm understanding and appreciation of EHR’s client service-focused philosophy. They are also trained on EHR’s advanced, proprietary information technology infrastructure and workflow solution known as EHRic™, or the EHR Information Center. EHR University graduates also walk away with an extensive understanding of the clinical and regulatory domain knowledge known as EHR Logic™.

Following their general orientation, all employees are assigned to specialized training tracks and modules that are unique to their roles and responsibilities. For instance, EHR’s new Physician Advisor employees complete a rigorous training and testing curriculum, known as IPAC™, or the Institute for Physician Advisor Certification. Following the completion of their initial training and coursework and throughout their tenure with EHR, employees continue their enrollment in EHR University through ongoing live and computer-based education and mentoring.

“I believe that providing our employees the tools to learn everything they will need to be successful here at EHR has been instrumental in our longstanding ‘Best Places to Work’ reputation in the Philadelphia region,” explained Dr. Corrato. “We are proud to now be able to offer a dedicated and conducive learning center through the inception of EHR University. I personally visit with every new EHR University class to introduce myself and spread the word about our ‘open door’ policy for ongoing employee feedback and pursuit of excellence. Our employees also provide EHR the best education of all because their continued feedback on training helps us shape EHR University for future classes.”
